AG Mukasey

Retired Federal Judge Michael Mukasey officially became the 81st US Attorney General on Wednesday, having been sworn in by Chief Justice John Roberts in the Great Hall over at the DoJ. However, remarks made by the Smirking POTUS following the ceremony were perhaps more notable in that not only did the president choose to omit any reference to the issues within the Department of Justice that Mr. Mukasey now has to tackle, but also for taking an inordinate amount of time to once again thank the instigator of many of those same problems — former AG Alberto Gonzales — for both his service to the country and well as his “deep dedication to the cause of justice.” <*snicker/>
