The White House was ordered on Monday by a federal district court judge to preserve all of its email messages in response to two lawsuits having been filed against the Administration that allege that some 5 million pieces of electronic correspondence have been illegally deleted. Judge Henry Kennedy Jr made the ruling after two groups, the Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington and the National Security Archive, accused the White House of not following Federal Law with regards to maintaining presidential records.
