Open Your Wallets

Democratic presidential candidate Barrack Obama continues his fundraising edge over Senator Hillary Clinton, with recent numbers being released showing a 2-1 margin for the junior senator from Illinois. The numbers also indicated, however, a drop in total fundraising for both campaigns as the protracted primary battles may be finally putting a crimp on the Democratic donor’s wallets.
Mr. Obama also maintains a sharp lead in general election funds available to him to take the fight directly to John McCain, should he win the Democratic nomination later this summer. Mrs. Clinton, on the other hand, is much more limited when it comes to her general elections funds, and is also running deeply in debt compared to her opponent, who, as of the end of March, is running a virtually debt free campaign.
Ladies and gentlemen, you can say what you want about Senator Obama’s lack of “experience”, but the one thing that you can point to is right there for all to see — his management skills with regards to his campaign for president of the United States.
