See Dick Run His Mouth
By Thomas JeffreyArticle Posted: Tuesday August 25, 2009
Former Vice President Dick Cheney just can’t seem to keep his mouth shut when it comes to anything that would tarnish his memory about the heady halcyon days of CIA black ops, extraordinary rendition and water-boarding that he oversaw in the years following the events of 9/11.
Didn’t we put a stop to this skipping record months ago?

The indignity of the Valerie Plame CIA leak case continued this past Friday, just two weeks after the commutation of Scooter Libby’s prison sentence by the Smirking POTUS, with the dismissal of Ms. Plame’s civil suit against Vice President Dick Cheney for his role in the scandal.
While federal district court judge John Bates indicated that the lawsuit did raise crucial questions with regards to the behavior of our elected officials, he ultimately found that there was no legal basis for a plaintiff to recover legal damages from such officals for actions performed under the auspices of their office. And my dear reader, if you’re anything like this Leftwing Nutjob, that should scare the hell out of you.
Judge Bates, whose judicial impartiality, legal acumen and professionalism have so far not been called into question, I would be remiss if I failed to point out that he did serve as Deputy Independent Counsel during the Whitewater investigation and was recently appointed by Chief Justice John Roberts to serve as one of the three judges on the FISA court, the federal bar that oversees requests for surveillance warrants for use inside the United States.
...just pointing out Mr. Bates’ curriculum vitae, that’s all.

In what will undoubtedly become fodder for the late night talk show hosts, it was announced on Wednesday that Vice President Dick Cheney’s daughter Mary is expecting her first child next year—out of wedlock!
Ms. Cheney, who apparently has no plans to marry the father of her unborn child, had her pregnancy announced through her spokesperson who stated that “the vice president and Mrs. Cheney are looking forward with eager anticipation to the arrival of their sixth grandchild.”
And to add even more fuel to his immoral fire, apparently Mary Cheney has also been living in sin for the past 15 years with someone else, with whom she apparently plans to raise the child in suburban Virginia.
No wonder the Religious Right is upset with the Bush Administration, they’ve completely lost touch with the family values agenda that they were championing just 2 years ago.
Somebody get Ted Haggard on the phone—we need an intervention at the White House!

Vice President Dick Cheney, continuing to personify the complete and utter disconnect that the Bush Administration has with reality, reasserted Monday afternoon his belief that, in spite of everything that points to the contrary, the Iraqi insurgency was, one year later, still in its “last throes.” However, during the question and answer session following a speech at the National Press Club in Washington, the Man Behind the Curtain did concede that “I don’t think anybody anticipated the level of violence we encountered.”
Unwilling to take responsibility for the White House’s misunderestimation however, the Vice President choose instead to invoke Iraq’s former dictator and perennial boogyman, Saddam Hussien, as the source of the coalition’s woes.
“If I look back on something that I underestimated, it would be the extent to which that society had been damaged by that series of events that had occurred over 30 years during Saddam’s rule.”
Later, when pressed by reporters about how he currently viewed the Iraq situation from within his reality distortion field, Mr. Cheney cited December’s parliamentary elections, the subsequent constitutional referendum, and the creation of an Iraqi unity government as proof positive that the coalition was, in fact, contrary to what was being reported in the liberal media, winning the war in Iraq.
But aside from the fact the coalition forces have suffered over the last 13 months their worst casualty rates since the start of the war, and disregarding the increasingly violent and persistent sectarian violence that has gripped the country over the past year, I suppose with the right shade of rose colored glasses you could see how the War in Iraq has been a success.
However, the only thing that this Leftwing Nutjob cannot understand is how in the hell these jokers are going to explain themselves to the Almighty when Judgement Day rolls around.

Staunch Republican supporter and big money donor Harry Whittington, the man Vice Preident Dick Cheney shot this past Saturday, was released from a Corpus Christi hostpital this afternoon.
Mr. Whittington, the right side of his face still badly bruised, spoke with reporters briefly and stated that “My family and I are deeply sorry for all that Vice President Cheney and his family have had to go through this week.”
